A bratwurst could also be offered as farmer's tavern from the house slaughter. For a snack.

Too bad the meat was dry, the fresh salad tasted like ready-made dressing, the mushroom sauce like baggy soup. Seasoned meat was good, service friendly. But why was there a mop on the heater to dry before serving the food?

We had two dishes with meat (game and steak). The meat, however, was uncannily dry in both cases and the steak tasted like freezer. The red cabbage was way too sweet and the rest bland. The service was very friendly. The toilets were clean. Nevertheless this was our first and last visit.

Very good food from our own production, literally feed like nuts. Small but nice shop for butchers and other products. On offer also a small apartment.

We were there on Saturday, the 14.09.19 about 13.30 clock during a hike there (according to stop at the restaurant itself: from 10.00 o'clock to light off). We were told, that only from 17.00 clock is open. Too bad .... here in the Harz no one needs to complain that no more tourists come. You have to click on the first star, otherwise the rating will not go out, actually it would be 0.

Was nothing. Schnitzel ordered, raw meat get. After the complaint, we learned that the first schnitzel was a bit too black. "Would you like to take it with you for the dog?" Sad. Nice pub, bad implementation. With own farm shop one expects actually more than microwave and fryer. Again, something learned.

Quaint tavern with cozy beer garden and home-style cooking. Friendly and fast service. The food tastes good and the prices are ok too. The only drawback, the opening times do not match those found on Google Maps.

The food - schnitzel, steak, more - was very spicy and not very tasty. Much like sauces, we felt like finished goods. Only the salad was fresh and quite tasty and saves the 2nd star. For the offered quality the prices are clearly excessive. Definitely no recommendation from us.

Here you can eat and drink as in ancient times. Quality and price fit. Operation top. If we stay in the area again we will spend a nice evening again.

In an old farmhouse with authentic ambiance where the lady of the house is still cooking .... Fantastic food .... really cost from the neighborhood .... and the portions as they used to be with the farmers on the land .... 😋 Building is obviously a bit dated, but that gives the charm ... well everything is neat and tidy clean, and there is personal attention for the guests Located 900 meters away from the hotel van van der valk, so is easily accessible on foot And the quality-price ratio is absolutely worth the money .... Really recommended
